Quiet Campaign:
Fundraiser to purchase acoustic panels for Water Street Gallery

Join us by contributing to our Quiet Campaign – our fundraiser to purchase acoustic panels for the gallery.  If you have been to one of our openings you will know that they can get pretty noisy, especially when there is a group of enthusiastic art fans.  The sounds of our voices bounce and echo around the room, sometimes making it hard to hear, or carry on conversations.  These acoustic panels will absorb sound and create a quieter, more acoustically comfortable environment for visitors.

Artist Alanna Baird is heading up this campaign and will be donating a beautiful original print to accompany each donation of $50 or more.  She has done her homework, and a minimum of twelve 2 ft x 4 ft panels, covered in white, fire retardant fabric, would cost approximately $2,000.00. The installation should be relatively easy, and can be done by volunteers. A few more panels would be even better, but it is a good target to start.  We are looking for 20 people who would put $100 each towards this, or 40 people who have $50.

Tax receipts will be issued along with the original print, and enjoyment of art, music and social events will follow. Thank you for helping us find some Peace (and Quiet).

Questions? Please contact Janie Jones, Operations Manager at info@sunburyshores.org or call 506.529.3386.

An original, print (limited edition of forty) by Alanna Baird will accompany donations of $50 or more.
