This course will explore the various techniques in oil, including painting, glazing and “Alla Prima”. Students will create works that express subjectivity and perception of their surroundings. Various locations in St. Andrews will serve as focal points for a “zoom in” technique that will also be covered. Join artist Patrick Cordier as he inspires you to be creative by the sea.

Ce cours explores une varieté de différentes technique de la peinture a’ l’huile, du classissisme à l’impréssionisme contemporain. Vous produirez des oeuvres qui exprimeront la subjectivité et la perception de votre environement. Une variété d’endroits inspirant de St-Andrews et ses environs, seront l’objet de vos travaux.

Patrick Cordier

Patrick Cordier is a professional painter with over forty years experience in his field. After studying art at “Les Beaux Arts De Paris”, he moved on to apprentice with acclaimed artists Jordic Bonet of Spain and Porto Carrero of Cuba. He has been commissioned for private, commercial and corporate works, across North America and Europe and has been the recipient of numerous honors and awards.

Patrick Cordier est peintre professionel avec 40 ans d’expériences dans le domaine de l’art. Après études aux Beaux Atrs de Paris et de Montréal, il a continué d’apprendre le métier parmi certains grands artistes tels que Jordi Bonet et Porto Carrero.Il produit pour le secteur privé et corporatif a’ travers l’Amérique du nord et l’Europe. Il a été récipeindaire de plusieurs prix d’honneur.
