Summer 2010
PORTRAIT PAINTING

July 19-23, 2010
Sheryl Crighton
Through a series of warm up exercises, participants will be encouraged to see in a "different way " and will use this way of seeing to develop a method for creating portraits. You will start with the profile, work through the three quarter view and time permitting, draw a front view. Students will begin with photographs and will have two sessions with a model. A variety of media will be used in this course with special emphasis on acrylic paint. This is a terrific course for anyone who has always wanted to master the art of portrait making.
Course Only: $335.00 +HST;
