Summer 2010
CLAY SCULPTURE – CREATURES FROM THE BLACK LAGOON!
August 16-20, 2010
Helen Stanley

When you let your imagination go wild, what do you come up with? Do you look at garden sculptures and your fingers itch to add your own touches? With a combination of hand building techniques, Helen Stanley will show you how to make your creations come to life. Flowerpots, fountains, or stand-alone sculptures… your hands, a lump of clay and a few simple tools can amaze you. We’ll have to keep the size reasonable so that we can get the pieces dried and fired in the short time available, but once you learn how, the sky is the limit as far as size and subject.
