If you are planning on submitting and would like insight to the process or feedback on your proposal this workshop is your opportunity! We’ll give you information on the exhibition committee’s selection process\, what we look for\, what makes a strong proposal\, etc… You will also have a chance to discuss your proposal with the other participants\, getting feedback or suggestions. Once the working period starts\, you can get help if your stuck or ask for feedback on what you have so far.\n\nMore information on the application process\nApplication Form\n\n\nThis workshop is tailored to the Sunbury Shores application process\, but open to all projects. It’s free for Sunbury Shores Studio Members; gallery members and non-members can join for $5 to $15.\n\nRegister Here \n(day of/at the door also welcome)\n\n\n\nWe recommend coming with some material prepared. If it is not completed\, do you have completed work to use as an example?\nDo you have a solid concept or foundation for your show or are you stuck on multiple ideas? (we can help you figure it out\, but it’s easier to help if you can identify the various ideas or what you’re stuck on)\n\nSchedule\n\n\n5:00 – 5:30 – presentation and Q&A with Caroline Walker\, artistic director\, and/or Sara Brinkhurst\, executive director at Sunbury Shores.\n5:30 – 6:30 – round table discussion facilitated by Kate Giles\, programming and promotions coordinator. (each participant will get a chance to present their idea and talk about it with the group. Depending on the number of participants we’ll time it)\n6:30 – 6:45 – break\n6:45 – 8:00 pm – work period. Kate Giles will be available for questions and feedback.\n\nParticipants may leave at the break or stay to work on their proposal but are not obligated to stay until 8.
