Growing up on a cattle farm just outside Harvey, I am a country girl. I love the brooks and pastures, spring water and fresh air.
In 1994 I moved to Saint Andrews to attend college and ended up staying for eight years. In that time I discovered my passion for all things creative. At Sudbury Shores, I took every course I could from pottery to wood carving, Batik fabric dying to paper making.
While working with Ruth Dunfield, I was introduced to Stained Glass and have been creating my art for 22 years.
I left Saint Andrews for the mountains, there I found my husband. Together we have three incredible children and have been living happily for 17 years.
In Harvey I am part of the Kubbyhole, a craft cooperative. There I am a very active member as well as the resident merchandiser making the shop aesthetically pleasing by arranging the displays of our members crafts as well as my own.
I have many other interests gardening, crocheting, needle felting, mosaics but my favourite will continue to be the glass.
