Lino Block Printing with Helen Soucoup

Create your own greeting cards, and small artworks with experienced printmaker Helen Soucoup. Over two days in the print studio, Helen will guide you step by step to design, carve your lino block, and print your own limited-edition artwork.  If participants wish to try printing on fabric, bring your own, preferably cotton. Otherwise, all materials included and experience in printmaking is not necessary for this workshop. Helen brings a love of the craft of printmaking to her work. With a BFA and a major in printmaking, she has become an experienced printmaker who teaches and exhibits locally. She sees art as an exploration of self, relationships with others and the natural, cultural and political world around us.
