In this two-day watercolour workshop, artist Susan Paterson will be using still life as a subject. Students will be shown how to set up their own still life considering light, colour, rhythm and composition. Then the emphasis will be on accurately drawing their set-up, trying to work out any problems before starting to paint, and finally, learning various watercolour techniques to create a realistic sense of form and space.
