Meet the Artists behind From Harm to Harmony
Tea and Coffee Provided with Cash Bar Available!!
A little different than a traditional artist talk, on Saturday, March 19th, Sunbury Shores will host the artists behind our current show, From Harm to Harmony, as well as some of the organizers from the Conservation Council of New Brunswick as we hear about their fabulous vision for art’s role in healing our relationship with the earth. From 2 – 3 pm, we’ll hear from individual artists and have a chance to ask questions. From 3 – 4 pm, we’ll move to informal conversation in the space, allowing attendees to approach artists and ask them further questions.
Fresh off projects such as “For The Love Of…,” The Conservation Council of New Brunswick is taking a different approach to “changing hearts and minds” around climate change: talk about what you love, and let the danger be implicit in contrasting relation to the things we deeply care about, not the main message. We are at a point in global history where creativity in approach to communicating about climate change is an absolute must. Sunbury Shores is excited to partner with the Conservation Council in the spirit of their approach as well as in future iterations of their wonderful work.
Covid Regulations: We will be back to full capacity in the gallery. Masks and social distancing will no longer be required as of March 14th, but we fully recommend that everyone act in their comfort. We expect to see both masked and unmasked at the event. We are happy about that and expect others to feel and act the same way.
