Sunbury Shores Arts & Nature Centre has joined with Kingsbrae Gardens to provide activity-packed summer art and nature day camp. There will be weekly art explorations and work with local art instructors in Sunbury Shores’ studios. Kids will create art and enjoy outdoor games, activities, and woods and beach explorations.

We are thrilled to announce Kate Bucca PhD, MFA, MEd (from Bucca Dell’Aqua) as our 2026 SCAMPS Director! Along with experienced assistant Mallory Stevens, they will work with the kids to learn more about their environment and the natural world while creating art and having fun.  Individual attention and encouragement within the group is provided at all times.*

What do I need to bring?

• A packed lunch for full-day sign-ups
• Allergy-free pocket snacks
  • 2 snacks for each full day, 1 snack for a half day
  • Please contact Sunbury Shores for more information on acceptable allergy free snacks
• Sun protection
• Drinking water
• Sensible clothing for weather/outdoors
• Closed-toed shoes are required
• If your child is at risk of severe allergies, please notify the counsellors and provide an Epi-pen or medication on your child’s person or bag.

When and where do I drop off/pick up my child for/from SCAMPs?

Location: Kingsbrae Gardens’ Pedestrian Entrance, 220 King Street, St Andrews NB

PLEASE NOTE:  It is essential to be on time for drop-offs.  After Registration, the group moves off into the gardens/studios, and may not be easily located for late joining.  Please be respectful for late pick-ups and inform us immediately so we can arrange suitable supervision.  506 529 3386.

IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT THE EMERGENCY CONTACT NUMBER YOU PROVIDE BE OPERATING AT ALL TIMES, in case of any unforeseen circumstances.

NEW Enhanced Safety Practices for SCAMPS

This summer Sunbury Shores is implementing enhanced safety practices.
Along with emergency contact info required from parents/guardians, our process now includes obtaining, at registration, the names of two selected/authorized people who have permission to collect kids after SCAMPS, or at any other time during Scamps. Identification (Driver’s license or other photo ID) may be required to be shown to SCAMPS staff when campers are handed over.

The two selected authorized people who have permission to collect kids from SCAMPS can be, for example, another parent, a relative or a trusted neighbour. This information will be shared with SCAMPS summer staff and Sunbury Shores staff.
Each child should also confirm that they know the person who is collecting them and be able to identify them by name.

Cancellation Policy:

• Pre-registration is required by 8am day of. NO WALK-IN’s
• Payment is required in advance.
• Pre-paid registrants receive a full refund if a class is cancelled by Sunbury Shores due to any unforeseen circumstances.
• If a registrant cancels a booking 1 week (7 days) before the course begins (enough time for Sunbury Shores to fill the spot with someone on the wait list), the registrant will receive a full refund.
• If the registrant cancels after the 1 week (7 days) deadline, they will receive a 50% refund.
