We are seeking a Children’s Summer Program Administrator, through the provincial SEED program. The position will run for ten weeks, June 10- Aug.26, 2022. To be eligible, a candidate (student) must:
• Be a full-time student (high school – grade 12 only, university or college) in the current academic year of 2021/2022, and
• Be attending a post-secondary institution full-time in the fall of 2022 (university or college).

Sunbury Shores runs an 8-week summer camp for kids ages 5-11. Activities cover art projects, nature walks and science exploration. The administrator will:
- Manage bookings;
- Ensure safety protocols are followed;
- Manage art supplies and equipment;
- Assist Instructors with supervision of children; assist with art and nature projects;
- Help participants with safe use of equipment and materials;
- Report on outcomes, issues or concerns;
- Report on attendance and financial transactions;
- Be prepared for high levels of activity, have a good attention span and patience, enjoy working with kids, and be prepared for indoor and outdoor activities with suitable clothing and protection. Required skills:
- Organizational skills, scheduling, reporting;
- Cash management;
- Computer skills;
- Good communications skills;
- Arts and/or natural history interest;
- Bilingual (french/english) is an asset;
- Vehicle and valid driver’s license an asset;
- Must complete an RCMP Vulnerable Persons Check and provide 2 references.
