Speaker Series: Alanna Baird, A Residency in Motion

Alanna Baird was an artist in residence aboard an expedition ship, it was an expedition through the Students On Ice Foundation. It was sponsored by DFO. It was called:

“Ocean Conservation Expedition – Nova Scotia and Bay of Fundy”

in Sept 2022 Alanna joined the ship Polar Prince in Cape Breton and travelled along the NS coast and into the bay of Fundy with a cohort of indigineous youth & elders, scientists, blue ocean industry representatives, Museum of Nature staff as well as the SOI expedition staff.
